The problem I should say with normal polling is it ignores the electoral college, said polling would be fine for any other local race, senate, mayor, public opinion on issues, or whatever else.
Yes Harris has a strong probability to win the popular vote, but said win means nothing if she doesn't win the electoral college. Also ignoring skewed polls bias, ones favoring one side or the other other.
Anyway there is at least one presidential debate we will see in two days (and a VP debate later in the month) so there is a chance there could be yet another shift in polling.
