It's always been this way.

Conservative politicians are happy to let the uneducated masses believe they're part of an in-group so long as it continues to suit their needs, but the reality is that it's only a privileged few who would ultimately maintain absolute personal freedom at the endgame. They've only become more explicit about their extremism (ala Project 2025) in recent years because they can see that demographics are shifting, and soon electoral victories will be out of their grasp entirely, even when accounting for gerrymandering and the electoral college. It's now or never for their fascist takeover.

Not hard to see what's going on with Trump nowadays. It's been one losing streak after another ever since Kamala took stage and Biden stepping down. Trump is panicking hard. He kept saying Biden was too old and should step down from re-election, but once that happened, the situation completely shifted over his head.

He can't control the narrative anymore and just throwing racist remarks and insults one after another towards Harris.

Even Trump's nephew, Fred Trump III, recently talks about how he wants to support Kamala and even shared how Trump said that people with disabilities should just die to save on expenses, including his nephew's son.

Even tried to make one of his tragically dead MAGA supporters from the attempted assassination be a punch line joke, recently.

He doesn't give a fuck about America or truly anyone, really. He just wants power to control, like any other WEIRD, narcissistic, psychopathic, heartless, tyrannical asshole.

Personally, I don't give a shit about Biden. He's already served his time in office and on his way out. But I still haven't heard about what Biden's done that's way worse than what Trump has done.

The betting markets agree with you. Age is a huge factor here, as the vast majority of Gen Z will be old enough to vote in this election. They largely do not want people with one foot in the grave representing them, and even if that wasn't an issue, Trump's messaging does not resonate with their experiences.

Not to mention, lots of conservatives and boomers died from COVID thanks to their refusal to adhere to the COVID mandates of social distancing and whatnot... So if Trump didn't have the numbers last time, he definitely won't this time either.
