Anonymous source claims Kamala Harris refuses to commit to a 2028 Presidential bid unless the DNC has $2 Billion in campaign financing minimum.
I don't think she'll run again, and honestly, the first female President will probably be a Republican. lol

The new leader of the UK conservative party is a black woman, would be interesting to see that emulated here

Is that good or bad? Because 2 billion sounds a lot
Most likely just means that she's not going to run again unless her backing party has a shit ton of money to spend on a prospective campaign.
Kamala had an intense uphill battle in this election, and a huge factor in that was that her opponents (Trump, Trump's associates, Elon Musk) have ludicrously deep pockets.
Big corporations and the wealthy stand to gain immensely from a Trump presidency, so they're willing to spend a lot of money if it means Trump wins. Musk alone donated at least $75 million to Trump's campaign and held what amounted to a lottery to swing voters over. Combined with his ownership of a massive social media company, it isn't unreasonable to see him as pulling many more strings of this election than would meet the eye.
These practices--what can easily be seen as buying the election or choking out a less wealthy opponent--can reasonably be interpreted as being in direct conflict with the spirit.
But, unfortunately, these questionable practices will now be rewarded with at least four years of sympathy and approval by a fellow born-millionaire. The people that stand to gain the most from this presidency will likely be the people who were rich before the election even happened.

TL;DR: Kamala may not want to run without money to fight against millionaires on Trump's side.

because is not a actual thing
Val, with all due respect, it is most certainly a real thing. It's extremely well-documented and, at it's core, provides a grounds for which Trump can most realize what he wants to see in the White House. I've been carefully reading over it's documentation and adjusting my finances and goals for the next few years to best work with it, which isn't easy. It is a very real threat here in the U.S., and a lot of us are already preparing for the impacts it will have to our lives.
I'm not ragebaiting or upset or anything--but it does exist and it is very real. It's our lives now and it will likely be for years to come.
