More like the tariffs was one of the main reasons since slavery benefits corporations and politicians. That's why all big "progressive" global corporations that won't stfu about "human rights" at their virtue signaling ads have their factories in China, Africa, India and third world countries where human rights don't exist.

And I'll preemptively mention I hit up my local farmer's market or local butcher for a majority of my meat purchases.

Also same "progressives" are fine with porn and NSFW discord servers that are run by literally whom gooners asking for your ID and photo to confirm you're adult. What happened to internet anonymity and privacy rights, assholes? Don't pretend that you care about children when you support the idea of minors using social media and discord that are pedos' paradise!

I tip my snapback to you sir, I'm a big advocate for spending/keeping your money in your community. It can be cumbersome and time consuming, but helps build up communities when you can buy local. Hawaii raised me this way.

I don't doubt that at all.

Still, tariffs are the best way to protect our manufacturing base from other countries that subsidize their industries even more than we do and/or use slave labor or pay their labor slave wages. We've also been seeing the ineffectiveness of sanctions for decades.

Countries are already changing their ways because they know Trump with tariff the shit out of them if they continue to screw Americans over.

Do I mind paying a little more to help right the wrongs in the world? I sure as hell don't. Sign me up.
