Hacking Trucha Bug Restorer 1.0 - Freezing on install...

I have the TBR.dol file on my SD card.
I have system menu 4.1
I run BootMii from the HBC I select SD, navigate to the TBR.dol, then this screen comes up and I'm unable to proceed...

I can't get past this part... just freezes

A couple things to try... if not all at once..
- Use a 2GB card or smaller (do not use SDHC, i.e. 4GB or higher)
- Format as FAT16 (aka FAT) and not FAT32
- Google "Panasonic SD Formatter" and use that to format it

I just used the same SD card to install homebrew browser, I guess I should still reformat, huh. Just to rule it out....

As soon as I get to the TBR screen my Wiimote lights turn off and no buttons work.

Reformatted my 32MB SD card with the Panasonic SD Formatter... still freezes.

I'm loading TBR from the HBC > loadMii > TBR

reformat just to make sure.

I helped a friend hack his wii and he used a micro sd card in an adapter and it worked the entire time.That is until bootmii was installed.It installed just fine but after restarting it the wii wouldnt even load because of the microsd card.

why go through loadmii?

That might be your problem

Just move the TBR folder into your apps folder on your sd card and run it from the HBC.

Yep, i think loading through LoadMii is the problem here. Since TBR doesn't do an IOS Reload on startup like 98% of homebrew, it's important that the app that loads TBR shuts down the wii mote correctly or whatever. (I'm still collecting info about that)

A gamecube controller should always work.

remove gc mem cards?

i had to install ios 223 but it also freezes, then i removed the mem card and then it worked..

might be worth a try

Try using cboot2 to launch TBR...
