Lets just say It has been a very hectic 3 weeks for me. I'll try to find time to work on them soon. I apologize about all the delays.
Any chance you could post up all the olds ones in one .zip file? I'm going to be hacking a friend's Wii tomorrow and all your channels would be really helpful. I never got code dumps with them.

EDIT:
Never mind. Just found the channel set .rar on page 35.

Just came across the code dumps after updating FCEUX & SNES9X. Resorting back to older versions works. Looking forward to your updated channels to fix the problem. Thanks for all your hard work and I hope your next several weeks aren't as hectic. Thanks again!

@ Whoelse37, I just installed your channels for Atari, MPlayer, and TriiForce, and I must say, I´m impressed!

I´ve already put in a request for a Gecko channel with Troy, but it seems he has enough to do in his real life.

I hope you wouldn´t mind adding this to your "todo" list. Thanks if you can, and thanks for the ones I´ve already installed.

Thanks troy, these are great. Very neat and clean looking.

Also, thanks to Whoelse37, great additions. If you are still taking requests, how about one for neogamma?

I will make matching channels for Gecko and Neogamma (you can expect them both later today).

@ callmebob

You are referring to "Gecko OS" right? (Just making sure).

Thanks a lot Whoelse37 for the Gecko channel !!!

Fits much better to the rest of the channels than the one I was using.

I like the splash screen too, but my favorite part is the bg music you chose! Cool!

My wife and I were both looking for a good bg music sound clip (each on our own computer), and when we came across that one we both immediately looked at each other and agreed it was the one.

Originally I tried to create a comex dol loader (it failed to load Gecko), then I tried to create a waninkoko dol loader (it also failed to load Gecko), then I searched the Internet for a working Gecko loader and extracted the dol loader from it (which finally worked).

The extracted dol that I used had the Gecko loading screen built in to it (as I have no idea how to add or remove loading screens).

Thank you Troy for the awesome channel's. I've modded twelve plus wii's so far, all using your channels forthe nes, snes ,gba, and sega. Love everyone of them! Wondering if you could do something similar to the wii64 emu? I'm very grateful for your work, Thanks you.

Whoelse37 made a n64 one. He makes great forwarders, they match troys, and the "inside" of the channels look really nice and have good music.

Thanks for the neogamma forwarder whoelse37, its great. I dont use geckos, but i think i might try it, if only to see what music you guys are talking about

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
    +1
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm

i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds

It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
