Hi all,
I’m trying to save myself some work but I don’t know what I’m doing wrong and I’ve got 3 days into this thing now. Please help...

mice had my Wii for over a decade and I’m a bit worried it might be dying so I bought another Wii and external HDD for backup just in case. So far I’ve done the letterbomb on it which wasn’t easy. The new Wii wouldn’t display the captia “i am not a robot” part so I had to add it to an SDcard manually from my computer and load it that way, but everything seemed to be going fine after that I copied old SDcard to a new larger SD so I could add more GC games which I’ve done and all of my backups play perfectly from SD through wiiflow, gxloader and forwarder channels. The one and only issue I’m having is my Wii backups on the new USB HDD. I used Wii Backup Manager

I’ve used the transfer option to add my wbfs folder to the new drive 3 times now (114 wbfs files) and when I load wiiflow they don’t display the usb tab, just says cannot find games on isb1. I e tried changing the drive number in wiflow which didn’t work. I’ve loaded usb loader GX which is funny because the games do show up in the carousel there but when I try to play any of them it dumps back to the main Wii channel With all of my tiles. I’ve tried putting my old HDD on the new Wii and it does the same thing. Does anyone know what else I can do to get this working?

sorry for the long post.

I was having trouble posting the text, hopfully this works ok

More info: I can’t run bootmii, the program runs but I can’t get a controller to sync while I’m in the main screen of bootmii. I also cannot get home brew browser to install keeps giving me errors 81 and 6. I’ve checked my internet connection and it’s working in the opera browser and I was also able to update my usbloaderGX. Hopfully that gives you all more info to help solve my install issues.

Hello,

Your cios 249 is on the wrong version of the cios 2dx, you must reinstall the CIOS correctly by following this guide ==>https://wii.guide/cios

I advise you to install Priiloader, to counter the updates by following this guide ==>https://wii.guide/priiloader

test your loader now ??

Preferably ==> external hard drive in FAT 32 and manage your games with "wii backup manager".
