How was Terry involved?

Terry’s involvement was strictly in granting us permission to build the production in the first place - on the provision it remained a non-profit venture and was never sold to a third party after the fact. He remained very interested in the progression over the entire span and we would regularly provide screening updates when either of us were in the same locality. After one of these, he offered to rewrite some of the dialogue in the prologue – which we took him up on. The last screening we held for him was in his own study in August of 2014. Although the film still had a fair bit of work to complete, he enjoyed it immensely.

The film is now being produced in his honour.

GNU Terry Pratchett.

Hype.

Top one looks full of life and personality as well if pure fidelity is not your thing.

Or are you expecting nonsense like

Was amusing enough, and enjoyed the ending song.
"he offered to rewrite some of the dialogue in the prologue – which we took him up on"
Can tell, though not being able to write as well as Terry Pratchett is hardly the worst thing.

Don't know that I would introduce anybody to Discword with it (would probably go with one of the various UK Sky One efforts, Going Postal probably being the one over the other two even if I would say Colour of Magic if starting the books*).

*that we can doubtless debate endlessly, and there are plenty of other great candidates.

If I were to introduce people to Pratchett's work through movie adaptations, I would go with The Hogfather. Ticks enough boxes, hits enough points, looks halfway decent on the shoestring budget it had, doesn't butcher the source too much. Sadly I can't say the same about the others.
