Ok, so question...

If when I installed my trinket I did the vol+ strap with going the dual boot route... meaning if I press just power ofw boots and with vol+ and power cfw/hekate mod boots, but now I am tired of holding vol+ to boot cfw and considering I never use ofw anymore and am already banned and don't like autorcm...

What's the easiest way to configure/change my setup to just boot directly into cfw/hekate without having to hold vol+ with ever power on?

I know how to setup things to auto start the cfw once I boot into the hekate/switchboot mod whatever, just wondering what i need to do so I don't have to hold down vol+ then press power for every boot. I just want to push power and go straight into cfw from there. Thanks for any help.

Do what matty said and flash these latest 2 uf2 files to your trinket. Then boot your switch and hold the vol+ button until the red light flashes rapidly then immediately release it and let the trinket do its thing. Then power off and it should be in perma cfw boot mode.

Awesome, thanks...I read through this new thread, but for some reason that just sounded way to simple and starting thinking I was missing something. Will give it a go here in a little while.

Are you waiting til your console is full booted then holding the vol + button til it flashes rapidly red and then releasing because that works for me every time. If I doesn’t then I don’t know.

Another stupid question ! How can you see the led flashing when your Black cover is in place ? Are you using a clear case ?

Changes:

Proper bitmapped graphics for all icons now.
Batt gauge is a clone of Nintendo's power off battery animation with lightning strike

Batt gauge is accurate and properly filled with BMP colours...

Hi, are the changes applied in this version indicate that we can update the trinket's internals without pressing the physical reset button on the trinket? Does that mean we can remove that button to make the trinket even smaller? Is that advised?

Using vol+ to enter uf2 mode is supported.

How it works is this...

Hold vol+ down. LED will light. Just keep holding the vol+ button and eventually the light will start a steady on-off flash. All you do then, is ensure your switch isn`t plugged in, and reboot (in rcm mode of course). Screen will stay black. Connect to PC. Done.

So, quickly...

With console switched on (mode doesnt matter), hold vol+ for probably around 15 - 20 seconds. Light will flash steadily.
Unplug from USB. Power off console.
Ensure you are autoRCM or dual boot
Power on holding vol+ if dual boot. If autoRCM, just press power
Connect to PC.
