Hacking Trinket m0 and RCM-X86 both refuse to flash UF2

Still struggling with this initial flash thing...

I posted a thread about a week ago when my trinket chip wouldn't flash. I got no response and gave up on it.

I now have an RCM-X86 and it's acting the exact same way.

I have no problem mounting the TRINKETBOOT drive and dragging files to it.

When I drag a bootloader update uf2 or the erase_m0.uf2 file to it, it behaves exactly as the guide says it should. It vanishes, updates and re-mounts.

Whenever I drag a Switchboot or Fusee uf2 file to it, it just sits there. Nothing happens.

Anyone have any insight as to what I'm doing wrong?

    If your throat closes, putting oxygen in your mouth will not solve anything - as you will be introducing oxygen prior to the area of obstruction
