I'm a bit confused on the whole concept of trimming roms with the Supercard patching software. All I know is that it cuts off the "blank space" from a rom, therefore making the final patched version of the rom smaller. Is it recommended that I trim all roms, just to be sure and make the rom files I use as small as possible?

if for whatever reason trimming breaks the game, you can just not trim it.

Yeah I trim mine just because I know that I have the extra space.

Yes always trim, if it works you get more space if not you just try again without trim.
Trim seems to work on over 90% of the ROMs so always try first, plus no one likes a
    hairy Rom. [IMG]

'Open Season' is the only rom I know of on SC that doesn't work when trimmed.
