can someone explain in laymans terms what they are?
Triforce is a program which allows you to load Wiiware & Virtual Console from a USB hdd. In order to use this you have to make a nand back of your wii and put it on the hdd.
Sneek, a NAND emulator that lets you run the entire system on your SD:
+Unbrickable while running it
+Better compatibility(I think?)
+Run your regular channels(Mii, Weather, News, Wiiware/VC)
-No CIOS(222/223/249) support, although CIOSCORP works a treat(which is actually nice when your real system doesn't get 'infested' by it!)
-Slower than regular NAND(depends on your SD card: slow and shitty? Slow speeds.)
-Doesn't work with all SD cards, but compatibility should be pretty good.
-No video mode patches, out of region channels might not run as well
Triiforce, a NAND emulator that lets you run VC/WW off USB/SD/real NAND, but cannot run the entire system(nor is it the goal):
+Works with USB(Not if you pair it up with SNEEK at the same time though)
+Works with CIOS(duh)
+Runs as fast as your real NAND(duh)
+Has video mode patches to run foreign out of region channels easier
-Doesn't run ALL channels, but a lot(Wiiware/VC only, and the compatibility for those isn't 100%)
-Can't take Wiiware online
I've heard you can run both in tandem/at the same time though, so go for both if you want. If I forgot something, feel free to add to the list.
