    okay i cant really ascii a perfect triangle but its a right triangle


    arg i have no idea except the other side is 56°. and the answer has to be a fraction

    is E on the other side of the triangle or does it signify the point of that triangle? If its the point its just a E = 34, which is sin34 = 0.55919. doesn't seem that hard tbh. In fractions.... i wouldn't know.

    alright, easier explanation.

    My guess is E is the angle, so therefore E = 34 right? just substitute it in.
    Sin E =
    Sin 34 = 0.55919.

    Draw it in paint so its easier to see. Do we know the lengths of the sides?

    Go with what Incomplete said. But for future reference, just remember 'soh-cah-toa' if your teacher hasn't already taught you that.

    soh: Sin = Opposite (side) over Hypotenuse
    cah: Cos = Adjacent (side) over Hypotenuse
    toa: Tan = Opposite over Adjacent
