Hacking Tried updating CHHM2 on A9LH now my 2DS wont start and only boots with black screens...?

I asked this question in the ASK! section of GBATemp:

Do i download the newest update and copy the unzip files into CHHM2 and copy and replace them?
Will that work or screw everything up?

And got this Answer:

Yes, just download the latest files and replace them.And yes, it will work IIRC

I don't know if i got false information or i did something wrong? But it seems i bricked my 2DS?

Why use CHMM2 if you can use HL Theme Tool to pack a lot of Theme in CIA and install them?
Anyways, sometimes CHMM2 gave me a blackscreen, so just delete the extdata folder for reset themes.
Or boot without SD, put your SD in your 3ds, and change a theme to another base theme (like red or blue).

You cant boot without the sd with a9lh

I didn't know you can turn it on without the SD card, when ever i push the on button it turns straight off again

Have you tried accessing the payloads by holding down the corresponding buttons when you turn it on?

OKAY I think it's all good now! That was weird, i got a lil scared there.

And no i dont know what HL Themes is? Is there a link i can download it?
