I've been playing some Trauma center, and besides it being set in a hospital environment, I suspect it's holding some references to TV series Scrubs.

    How about this:
    One patient named "Cox"
    One patient named "Turk"
    One patient named "Reid"
Your assistant is young, blonde and half german (just like scrubs's Elliott Reid)

I haven't gotten very far, but I wouldn't be surprised to see more of it.
Have anyone else found anything similar?

Btw, I'm playing the US version, maybe it's not in the EU version?

I never noticed that. I don`t think that this is just a coincident.

I noticed it on the second playthrough (more specifically when I got a trainer), if I were endowed with a sense of humour I might say something along the lines of like any good doctor I did not pay attention to the names of my patients.

Also I really must stop watching medical drama/comedy, even if they are great (wonder if I could be the House of the engineering world........).

I wonder if it's the doing of the US translating team or it was in the JAP version too.

    Nice find.

Holy Cow. I THOUGHT there was something a bit fishy with the names, some of them seemed familiar, but having not watched most series', I couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks for the heads up. That's pretty funny, and just made an awesome game even awesomer XD

    In addition

The main characters name is "Styles" which is a lot like "stylus."

And I've recently started playing Second Opinion on the Wii, and the first patient in the branching story line had the last name of "Chambers." And Justin Chambers is one of the characters in Grey's Anatomy, so it looks like it's still continuing the tradition.
