Seeing as TempBot continually posts outdated and bad written news and even with wrong information as seen here, I'm starting to think, that he/it is some kind of a bad programmed script rather than someone human behind a PC.

1) Why is he/it a staff member?
2) Is he/it human or a script?
3) Why hasn't he/it already been demoted/banned?

That's all.

it's the person who contributed who's is at fault i think.

IIRC, Tempbot automatically hijacks a thread that's submitted for frontpage.

Tempbot is only used for when people want their submissions on the frontpage.

It's not Tempbots fault, it's the person using it.

Actually, it is good enough.
Tempbot is used so if it does get accepted onto the front page, users cannot edit their posts.
