I recently bricked my new3dsxl and it's unable to be salvaged. I have the microSD with all the save games I've played through over the past year or so. I also have an old original 3ds that's just been collecting dust. Both are/were on a9lh with luma3ds installed and NAND backups of both systems are available.

Is there any way to get my save games from my new3dsxl memory card over onto the old system? I'd like to not lose all the progress I've made in Animal Crossing and Fire Emblem and the like. I'm fine with calling nintendo to have them transfer the NNID back over to the old system if that helps out anything.

You would need to do a system transfer or had made backups with jksv, the sd data is only readable by the console with its unique key.
Since your n3ds is broken, you cant exactly do that.

If I remeber correctly though, you may be able to call nintendo and they can move your old id with the serial numbers, but I don't believe it will allow your games to work. Doesn't hurt to try, though.

Also, how is it bricked?
