I've had a 3DS since near launch (so Ambassador too), yet I was thinking of picking up a Zelda bundle because I think that 3DS looks fricken cool o_o

So what I was wondering is about transferring data from one to another. I'm aware there's a menu item that allows for that (at least, I think I remember seeing one), but what does it transfer exactly? Would I lose my Ambassador stuff, or would it transfer over and I'd just need to redownload them, and what not.

Just wondering if anyone knows the specifics of it basically.

3DS to 3DS transfer isn't up yet. The one you saw is from DSi -> 3DS.

Even so it is unconfirmed whether ambassador eligibility can be transferred (Ninty refused to tell me).

The transfer will be up by the November major update.

Well it comes in the November update so we don't know everything about it.
But I'm pretty sure you can only transfer individual titles, Ambassador games included.
I'd say wait a couple weeks after the GBA games come out and see how people say the transfer works.

Thanks for the answers, belatedly.

Well today's update added the 3DS transfers, now I just have to figure out if I want to wait for the GBA games first, so it doesn't mess up the Ambassador stuff. It's hard to tell until the games are released at least.

It was easy to bypass some of the restrictions, as one of the admins left a registry key in the administrative shares drive, which allowed me to get around the blocking of some sites.
