Gaming Transfer EU MHG save to US MHG game

I started playing on EU MHG, but I'd rather play on the US copy of the game. Is there a way to transfer my save?

export saves from the 2 versions, exchange the save files, reimport the usa save.

Is the US version of MHG out yet? Also, is it worth playing MH4U now that MHG is either out or coming out this week?

Would also like to know. I tried using JKSV data manager but it couldn't find the save file (I assume because it is on the SD?) what else do we need to do?
