Started playing Trails of Cold Steel 3 and the aliasing is pretty horrible tbh (docked mode BTW) Really distracting. Was wondering if there's a way to mod it in a similar fashion as was possible with Xenoblade and some other games through config files and overclock.

It's not possible in the same way. Switch version is not using config file at all.
PC has dedicated functions that helps with changing graphics settings, but they don't exist in Switch version.
I'm struggling with finding 30 FPS lock for now.

Let's say I'd be interested in looking into this, what would be a recommended starting point? The jaggies are getting worse and worse further into the game.

@Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons. -

Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

Least my experience has gotten better than over a decade ago. My iron would constantly bump into components and break them.
