Don't know will it help but you can play games without calibrating touch screen and everything will work allright (tried that with acekard rpg).

I know this sounds silly, but have you tried recalibrating it in the menu?

Explain how you're going to recalibrate it if the touch screen doesn't work >.>
Also, I have a friend who had the same problem. For some reason, a little while later, it just started working again.

I have the same problem with my brother's phat DS, except its the other way around (left side drags to the right a little). He doesn't play too many games that need the touch screen precisely. Recalibrating it won't help because you have to tap a little off to hit the squares, which doesn't recalibrate anything at all.

I'm guessing the only solution is to get it repaired; through Nintendo or manually install a touch screen. You can buy one at DX for cheap.

The issue isn't with calibration. The membrane under the screen is loose or mis-aligned.

Well in that case, you can buy a replacement screen from DX for cheap just like what resres said.

Don't forget you'll also need a tri-wing screwdriver to take your DS apart.
