Hacking Touch Screen Connector Tab

Not too sure where I should post this but ...I have a bit of a problem.

I bought my Shock Case last year and today I decided to replace my case today... it was going fine and all until I accidentally broke the Touch Screen Connector Tab

.. was having a bit trouble getting the ribbon connector out. And now here I am with a touchless NDS.

Any ideas on what I should do to make the ribbon stay in the connector?

Of course, there's an alternative of buying a new one. But I want to keep this one working a bit at least.

A new one only costs like $7 on dealextreme. Go for it
