Hacking Top screen not stretched on 3DS - Vi

Vi deluxe edition, black sticker with the yellow letters... I guess it's because the top and bottom screen size is different, but the top part just shows the regular DS dimension with the black areas all around... is there a way to stretch jsut the top screen? I don't see it in the options menu to do that? or maybe wait for an update?

Your in DS mode, you don't get 3DS features.

The only other DS I had was the DS fat so I ddin't see the DSi... so are some DS games like have some kind of a "DSi" mode? doesn't the V"i" mean it supports DSi mode?

obviously the previous DS titles aren't suddenly gonna turn 3d, I just meant I wanted the screen to be maximized on the top screen...

All "DSi" flashcarts run in DS mode, except for the iEvo.

There is no stretch option in the system menu config.

The i was to signify it can boot on the DSi. However like all DSi compatible carts other than the ievo it only runs in DS mode.
