This clairly shows that Nintendo isnt really being affected by the piracy as much.

I personally buy good games, i enjoy them more in their real cart

Ugh. It was awful game. Resulting in sore throats for me and muting my goddaughters!!! One of them called a dog Bruno. It was like:

yes i totally agree that nintendogs is the worst thing ever made
but i guess there are many people who would rather have a virtual dog than a real one
i have no idea what kind of person would want that but oh well
well this just goes to show that graphics aren5t what make a game fun but the gameplay itself

The bludgeon effect I suppose.

Combine millions and millions of people (large sums being little kids) with millions and millions of player units sold (lots of things to play the games on) with a LARGE inventory of games (good or bad) and you get a nice response.

Even if the game unit is vulnerable to really easy game copy usage, the fact that a large sum of the users are kids that are not yet old enough to have easy access to the internet, and the knowledge base of how to download doesn't hurt.
couple that with the fact that kids often get games bought for them more readily than teens or older (crying and whining is the tactic of the child after all

).

But when you consider that a pirated game is still talked about a lot, and that is free advertising, and free advertising is always good. Because if you KNOW the DS can play copied games easy as hell, that makes it easy to sell the unit that plays it. And a Nintendo DS sold is the same as 3 games sold, or the profit level of more like many games sold. And that's not a justification for piracy, that's just a solid observation.

And if you have a DS, you will likely eventually buy "some" games. So anything that encourages sales of DS units isn't always 100% bad. And the more people buying a DS and a few games, the better. Because they at least bought something.
And 70 millions units plus 5 games sold is a great deal of cash regardless of whether some persons scam the other games or not.

I just wish at least one of my games of choice had made the list

Oh well. I've always known I was a small slice of the adult demographic. Wish I knew how many copies of Panzer Tactics has sold though.

I own an m3ds real 16g but when theres a game that wont work on it I simply go down to the store and grab myself a copy of that game.LOL I HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO MY Wii IS CURRENTLY DESTROYED...plan on gettting one when i get a raise
AND MY XBOX 360 HAS THE RED RING OF DEATH AND I MADE IT WORSER WHEN I OPENED AND TRYED FIXING IT MYSELF.....DAMN IT I GOTTA WAIT 4WEEKS FOR IT

It clearly shows what people without flashcarts buy. Even though it might not be affecting game selling in general it might be affecting the more mature titles and most of all the 3rd party developers that make those. Notice that most of those game are first party anyway and nintendo has enough moneys from the hardware already.

And yeah well I bought two games, at least something eh? Mario Kart and Resident Evil heh.
