Let me sum it up.
Nintendo has a track record of “bad third party” relationship dating right back to NES-times (ya know licencing from hell and all)…
If you have took a good glance at the list all of the games sold are first party.

Hmmm, personally I’s like to see more exposure given to indie developers by Nintendo a bit sooner. If they really want to change the industry and attract even more ppl to be gamers they have to also be open to new ideas that are outside of their comfort zone. That means more of the ‘and’, and much much less of the ‘or’ ie: much more online play, more indie support (which can even lead to acquiring fresh talent in the industry for the big N), and perhaps be less critical of third party and indie companies and let them have more freedom. Afterall, if a low budget title like Wii sports can sell systems, who knows what other causal games in the future might help pick up Wii sales when there is a slump (there are always slumps in console sales somewhere down the line), and Nintendo can actually have some pressure taken off of themselves from havng to pump out so many titles in-house to meet demand.
Bottom line is: You never know who can save your butt when you’re in trouble. That’s why you have to try keep a good relationship with developers, third party and Indies.
-Just my opinion.

Panzer Tactics. One of the best turn-based WWII strategy games ever. Highly polished and very, very addictive
-another

"So I guess 2 thousand?"

Went to the site, seems that I can verify that 0.02m number being there. Hmm I wonder how they get that kind of statistic?

Anyway, I wonder what a 9.0 rating implies? Is that out of 10?

2000 is actually the kind of number a wargamer would tend to expect. But that sounds rather small for a Nintendo DS release even for a total dud. My math sucks, but try as I might with a calculator, I think you meant 20 thousand.

20 thousand. To be honest, when a normal wargame sells 20 thousand units the boss breaks out the champagne

And the truth is the wargaming hobby is sitting on about 100 titles a complete moron could port to the DS with his eyes closed.

Just why they ain't taking the opportunity is a complete mystery. Too much of the idea "oh we can't afford to make a game for a console". Kind of ironic when you consider that some of the best brains in gaming are wargamers.

Getting a wargamer into the sunlight is harder than getting a queer out of the closet

Whats next, Nintencats? Perhaps we can link Nintendogs and Nintencats together and sick our doggies on the cats and watch them rip each other apart. That would make an entertaining game.
