Thanks! It's funny you mention that, actually as I'm working on porting SoulCipher's shofel2_linux to be a easy to use tool on Mac right now.
yeah, and macOS doesn't like the formatting of the main .sh script.Awesome! Can't wait to see what you come up with. Should be the imx_usb conflict primarily, right?
Hm, the only thing I can think of is that it's a USB 2 port, but that shouldn't be an issue. Are you sure you're entering RCM mode properly? What method are you using?I'm using an iMac (21.5inch, Late 2012), USB-C to USB-A cable. Its really old...

Right, but how are you grounding it? The pins themselves, the pins on the joycons, the solder pads on the joycons, etc?I'm using a cable and grounding pin 10. I tried this on my Linux and it detected the RCM.

Put the Switch into RCM mode, then attach it to the PC. Hold down the Option key and click on the Apple at the top left of the screen. Choose "System Information" then on the left find "USB."

On the list on the center of the screen, do you see the nVidia device listed?
Doesn't identify it as a nVidia for some reason but it is on RCM mode pluged in.
do you have everything installed ? does the normal fusee works for you ?
I made sure everything was installed, no, fusee does not work normally.
so something is not right if fusee standalone wont work , i am using high sierra installed all the drivers i did join pin 9 to pin 10 inside my joycon everything works
Crap, it's most likely my iMac, Thank you guys for trying to help!
well maybe not simply recheck everything and do it again .. maybe you are not hitting pin 10
That's not RCM mode. It should look something like my attachment.Doesn't identify it as a nVidia for some reason but it is on RCM mode pluged in.
Rechecked it and made sure it was hitting pin10, still got nothin

sudo python3 ./fusee-launcher.py fusee.bin
what happens ?
--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------
so you are not hitting the pins correctly

do you know how we can compile linux for the switch on mac ?
Still says "No TegraRCM device found?"
its because you are not on rcm mode
