I wonder if Pikachu's z move is as strong as say an electric orb Pikachu. And no more mega, which is kind of nice since Pokemon is not following Digimon's path.

The Z ring also allows mega evolution making the mega ring useless.

I dont see z moves topping mega evolution tbh id rather have more megas (flygon gen 2, 4, 5 & prolly 6 starters) then z moves for the pokemon who dont have megas for this gen
