I'm considering selling my "clean" Switch and start using a mix of Emunand/stock on my hacked one. Up until now I've only used sysCFW on the latter.

I was reading on the subject (this site was especially useful) and I seem to understand that, by using sysCFW (as I always did), I increase the chances of getting banned when I also boot in stock (i.e. I've "infected" stock).

Now that I intend to start using both Atmosphere (via Emunand) and Horizon on my hacked Switch, I'm wondering if I now carry a serious risk of getting banned because of years of using sysCFW.
I really want to avoid that, as I have purchased quite a lot of digital games (and I like 'Nintendo Music' a lot...).

And if I get banned on the hacked one, do I lose access to my games also on my "clean" Switch?

Thank you for your opinions :)

From my understanding no you do not. Homebrew can give you a console ban, but it will not give you an account ban. You'd need to cheat online in order to get one. Anyway what'd you do on the switch? As long as you didn't touch any files on the sysnand you'll probably be ok.

To my knowledge, using atmosphere and tesla/ultrahand overlay while blocking any access to Nintendo's servers are the only "safe" things you can do on your sysnand.

Never cheated online, so I suppose I'm fine on that regard :)

On the sysnand I mostly played with backups to manipulate save files and use cheat codes. No "hard modding".

If you installed your games directly from the eshop you're probably fine, if you installed them with something else like DBI or Tinfoil that's supposed to be a guaranteed ban.
By "guaranteed ban", you mean the ban will (almost) certainly occur when I start using the stock partition?

Yes. From my understanding, if you installed games or forwarders to your sysnand by using DBI, tinfoil (in tinfoil's case merely opening the app installs stuff) or similar tools, if you go online your console will either get banned on the spot or flagged. Getting flagged means you will get banned next time Nintendo does a ban wave.

This should give you a better idea on how to stay relatively safe:

Thank you very much for the link 👍

Just to be absolutely sure: my Switch risks getting banned if I start using stock (and do nothing outside of the rules) even if I never used the stock for non-authorised operations (only the CFW)?

If you did any of the unauthorized things mentioned in the link on your sysCFW then yes, your stock console would most likely be banned.
