If it is anything like Tony Hawk Ride it probably does but in this case it doesn't according to some news which hopefully won't change to a board only situation. I suppose if it does happen selling the stand alone game would be pointless unless the board from tony Hawk Ride worked on Shred which I doubt considering activation's history with certain things. Well at any rate if you go to your mall you might be able to try the game with the board and some news said it can be played on a controller which is hopefully not wrong else wise skate and some other skating games would be a better choice.
