When I try to launch TR: Anniversary, the PSP turns itself off after the splash screen. I use a photofast CR-5400 with 2 sandisc 8gb SDHC cards, and all are genuine.

All other games run fine and load very quickly.

I have tried disabling all plugins, but that didn't change anything.

Any suggestions? It doesn't seem to be a common problem with this game, at least I didn't find much via google.

you didnt process the iso.

i have it running on m33.

you need to backup the filelist and extract the eboot.
then decrypt & patch the eboot with edecrypt 1.3.1
then import the decrypted eboot.
then delete the boot.bin & update folder.
then import the file-list.
then save it as a cso level1

works 100%

No.

xist is right.

I was able to play mine without touching the file. As TS has stated above, it's just a bad file...

you more likely downloaded a patched one.

your original post describes the way that game acts if you mess with the dump without preserving the file-list table.
it did it to me the first time.

Either you've only recently come into the PSP scene or you haven't the first clue. The Tomb Raider games were released long long ago and as such would run on pretty much any firmware (i'd guess from 3.xx up, perhaps even earlier). No one in their right mind would patch them...

they may not patch them, but i'v had "very" old games with 1.50 & 2.0 updates on them where in order to run under iso-loaders the BOOT & EBOOT have been switched.

and sometimes the update gets ripped.

and then there is ESPIALPSP messing with the loading screens.

there are loads of reasons iso's get messed with!

That's just plain wrong.

Ripping the update is common practice and has only ever messed up a handful of LBP protected games.

And you just directly mentioned a prohibited site in your post....
