New question:

I put the patched game on my only SD card that was big enough for the new folder size (almost double? Wtf?)

But it's also the SD card I keep my comics on.

I try loading it up and get "SD load error" and the wii u kind of freezes.

Is this because the SD card has other stuff on it, or is it because the patched game is somehow not functioning properly?

Hey so, it's repeatedly stated in the thread that your Wii u needs to be homebrew ready for the tokyo mirage sessions patch.

If I can already use Loadiine games on my wii u via SD card to play them, why do I need further hacking?

Also, if this really is the case, is there a way to JUST get the outfits and cinematics replaced without having to "homebrew enable" my Wii u?
Loadiine alone is perfectly fine for loading an uncensored version of the game.

Loadiine is what they are calling "hacking".
You don't really need a "hacking ready WiiU", as there's no permanent hack. you just need to run the homebrew launcher to run ddd (dump your game), patch it and run loadiine (play the game).

So I put it on an SD card that has other folders containing comic book files. It's my only one big enough for the patched version.

I get "SD load failed". Is that because of my other folders?

It doesn't matter that you have comics on there. What matters is how your SD is formatted. Fat32 with 64k clusters size is what you want with your SD

if your SD card is FAT32 but 32k/cluster, that's fine too. You don't need to format it again. 64k/cluster is not mandatory, it's just allowing faster read speed (to load the game faster and prevent lags in some games).

so, what you need is :
wiiu/apps/homebrew_launcher/
wiiu/apps/ddd/
wiiu/apps/loadiine_gx2/

and your game :
wiiu/games/Tokyo Mirage [GameID of the game here]/

All the homebrew folders and files can be found easily on the forum and by looking at our wiki.
visit loadiine.ovh to load the homebrew launcher, select ddd
the game will be dumped to network using ddd, then you patch it and put the result it the "wiiu/games/title [ID]/" folder.
now launch loadiine from the homebrew launcher

There's no real "hacking ready console" (except for required firmware version), as all the required files are only on the SD card, not on the WiiU.

@SylverReZ, The Spanish content I get on Twitter is posts about video games, series, movies, YouTube(rs), memes and all that (aka things that interest me) while on Bluesky I only get posts about news, politics and stuff from random users that I don't know (meaning that on Bluesky I can't find anything that interests me)
