@landnspace, I'm not sure if the worst answers will help. If it's me, I would just reload my save before the affection is so high and work my way from there. But you can try different ways.

In my case, I had no problems when my buddy's heart was around pink level. You can see from the beginning of this video for Kou's heart. (The rest of the video contains Ruka's confession and Kou's Buddy Love ED, so avoid watching it if you haven't finished these routes yet.)

Hi, I just downloaded and applied the new patch! (v1.00) I noticed that during Approach Mode for dates, the heart monitor, buttons and stars at the corner don't show anymore, is there anything that can be done to fix this? This actually didn't happen with the previous patch owoll (v0.9)
I'm using a PSP, running 6.60 PRO-C2 CFW.

Did it happen on every date or just a specific date? If you saved before that date, could you try to go on a date again and see if it still happens? Or if you didn't save, please try to go on a few dates and report back if you see the same problem and also how often it happens. I would also like to know if it's a normal date or a 3P date that you found this problem. Thank you.

I found out Approach mode problem (heart button etc. dont show) in new patch (1.00) If me start the game with old system data (system data from patch 0.9 not save game data)

(no approach mode problem in patch 0.9 for me, so I continue play this game with patch 0.9 hahaha)

Did you by any chance use the "Install" button in the game? You can check if you have a folder "ULJM05976INSTALL" with some files in it in your memory card. That could mess up the game. Since you're playing with the ISO not the UMD, you don't need to install it.

Another method you can try is to back up all the save files and system file and then delete or move them somewhere else (You must backup the files, otherwise the saves/progress will be gone), and then try to play the game from the beginning until you reach a date and see if the buttons are still missing.

- I play with emulator on PC -> PPSSPP v.0.9.8 and v.1.0.1 (no different)

- It happen on every date
- It alway happen, save before date or not
- only in 1-1 approach mode (3P walk home no problem)

**no problem if delete old system data save file (patch 0.9) and start a new game (patch 1.0) without system data

Can I post my problem for DS version here too?
I used the xdeltaGUI for patching, because the LightPatcher didn't seem to recognize my Clean ROM as it is.
I'm so happy until it start to glitch/pausing...
I'm enable to enter information (name etc) until Ruka sent me home. And then when the command screen try to be seen, it paused.

About the Clean ROM,
Before I know there was patch for Girl's Side 3, I have played it and get almost every guys ending (haha) with my basic Japanese.
So I guess the Clean ROM is just fine.

I'm patching 2 times already,
First yeah I didn't gather all the files in the same folder, but it patched (490 MB file born).
Beacuse it start to glitch, I patched it again, this time I fulfill the recruitment.
But it still glitch at the exact same time.

PLEASE HELP!

@catbejeck, it depends on the location and the dialog the game randomly picks, so there's no certain choice for which skinship you should use to get to the climax mode. (And I play it with an emulator so I always use savestate and reload if I mess up.) Sorry that I can't help much.

@candy_kim, what is the size of your clean rom?
Also, if you can check MD5 hash for your clean rom with this website, please also check it.

I recorded a video from Arashi's route in case it might help. But I still have no certain rules for which skinship you should choose. Just choose by instinct.



There usually are two ways to reach the Climax Mode. (As you can see in the video. My first try was a success through one set of actions, my second try was a failure, and my third try was another successful one but through a different set of actions.)

Notes: For the skinship during Climax Mode (as well as Ex-Approach Mode), the number of stars you see when you pick an action shows you how close you are to the correct action. Also, aim for the little white bar inside the gauge for Gaze, Hold Hand, and Mock. (It'll give you Critical).

You need to use Analog stick to approach the guy. For PPSSPP, you can check the default buttons from "Game Settings" menu and then "Control Mapping". (I think the default analog up is the letter "I" on your keyboard, but you can change it. Just press this key when you reach the Approach mode.)

You can also use the on-screen touch control from "Game Settings" menu-->"More Settings"-->"Controls"-->check the "On-screen touch control". You'll get buttons similar to this on screen. Push the one in the red circle up when you reach the Approach mode.

For more info on skinship in PSP version, read the Tutorial in the Extra menu (which you'll see when you turn on the game.)

You only need to patch it once with either LightPatcher or xDeltaGUI, not both.
Did you successfully patch it, or did you have problems during the patching process? Please post the error message you got.

You might need to update the firmware of your flashcart to be able to play it.

I've been trying to update my flashcart to the latest firmware but having trouble with it. And there wasn't an exact error message but just a "Loading..." screen. But thank you for your help.

That sounds pretty much like your flash cart need an update. (That's what I mentioned in Note 3 on the download page.)

Note 3: The latest DAT update on YSMenu already covered TMGS3 English patch for DS, so if anyone uses YSMenu (TTMenu) and can't play the patched game, please update to the latest DAT.
