Did you overwrite the old 2.62 .exe with the new 2.63 ?

2.63 is not the complete package, and requires all the 2.62 files.

try, reinstalling 2.62, then overwrite the main exe with the new 2.63 one

Hmm, I always get rid of the old program before installing a new version. Zelda is working and saving fine for me with the 2.63 patcher and 1.83 firmware.

I've tried reinstalling the 2.62 patcher and then overwriting it with 2.63, but the result is always the same... save game corrupted...
what kind of setting are you using?

i'm just using the standard settings

only thing i can think of is to make sure the 'saver patch' is set to the memory card and not ds-card setting in the ds rom options.

to get ds options 'doubleclick' the rom in the list, don't look in the options tab.

sadly, "saver patch" position is already set to memory card...
I have enabled the standard settings: saver patch (SD card), Rom position patch (SD card), enable restart (Y), faster gameplay (Y) and enable patch cartridge access (Y)(high).
should I try with another dump? my only problem is the corrupted file, the game loads and play just fine as I said before.
maybe I'm just unlucky...

EDIT: good news! probably it was only a faulty dump. I've tried with another, the Independent's release, and it all went well, standard settings, latest firmware and patcher, no more corrupted files.
Many thanks to all of you
