Hi guys,
How do i get into the hekate bootmenu with a RCM loader device?
My payload on my RCM loader is HEKATE CTCAER 4.2.
So what i tried is:
- Injecting payload with RCM loader (so this is holding volume up and holding powerbutton)
- holding volume down (this should get me into the bootmenu, i've seen it on some youtube movie)
....but nothing happens, i only see the Atmosphere startup screen as usual....
Thanks.
You're injecting the atmosphere payload.bin, not hekate, or you have autoboot enabled.

Hi,
So...finally i managed to upgrade my firmware manually to version 10.0.0.. with help of the link in this thread. (ChoidujourNX)
Everything seemed fine, no errors, BUT.....after reboot i got black screens, after pressing the power button several times i could inject a payload and enter CFW.
I've checked my settings and it upgraded indeed to firmware 10.0.0.
Unfortunately i could not start any game / homebrew.....i got errors saying that files were currupted and needed to download them again and start from home....nothing worked.
I panicked and the first thing that came up in me is to restore to my originale software.
(afterwards i thought perhaps this could have something to do with FAT32 / EXFAT, ChoiduJourNX, but since i'm a newbee....)

Luckily i had made a backup as per instructinon in this thread.
So i put back my previous NAND software with Hekate, everything seems fine again, but then....my switch would not startup normally and not in CFW mode....
After hooking up my switch to my charger, i could finally inject a payload and enter CFW.
but i can never start my swith in original mode anymore, i get a black screen......
I can only start in CFW after injecting payload with my RCM loader dongle.

What went wrong here and how can i also start my swith in original mode again, so without injecting payloads.?
Thanks a lot for your help !

1-You needed to update your Sig patches. Thats why you got the corrupt mesaage after updating. Rule of thumb, update the system... Update the patches.

2-Sounds like its in autoRCM mode. Disable autorcm in Hekate.

I'm still on 9.1.0 and all my stuff plays fine even the newer Naruto game and I'm on Tinfoil 8.1. If you are on 10.0.0 now you have 2 options you can use the Netus with the fork or the Atmosphere and Hekake they work good you probally downloaded something wrong.

I'll test the waters on 10.0.0 on SXOS on my other switch but my main one is going to stay on 9.1.0

Hi,
I've checked in Hekate, autorcm is DISabled.
But i remember that during the firmware update from 9.00 to 10.0 with ChoiduJourNX i ENabled autorcm.
As said, after firmware update from 9.0 to 10.0 i did a NAND restore back to my original firmware 9.0.
Could this have ruined something and can i still fix it so i can start again in OFW mode?
Thanks !

Hi,
Thanks for the info.
My firmware version was 9.0.0, i've tried downloading many games from mid march till last week and none was starting.
Older games work perfect. I don't understand this?

I'm currently using AMS 0.10.2 - Hekate 5.1.1 - CFW 9.1.0 HBG and every game I played worked. I'll also add that I mostly use tinfoil 8.1 (that have the bypass firmware check option) I'm not sure of your build in the past but me personally I dont know why people update when evreything works on old CFW.

Hi,
Is it possible that i can't start in OFW because i have restored my NAND software again to a lower firmware?
How to fix this?
Thanks.
