I wish they'd re-release the game with the e-reader levels already on-cart as a bonus - maybe then it'd be worth the FREAKING $44.99 they charge for it in Canada.

Besides the e-reader cards from Series 1 & Series 2 that were sold seperately at EB stores and such - are there a lot of other SMB3 cards, or just a few? Was there ever a Series 3?

Ah, the e-cards - such a bone of contention for me.

Included with every copy of the game: (2 cards)

Item 3: Super Leaf
Level 01: Wild Ride in the Sky

If you got the Wal-Mart exlusive version of the game, it came with five EXTRA cards: (5 cards)

Item 1: Super Mushroom
Item 2: Fire Flower
Promo Level: Airship's Revenge
Demo Card: World 4-6
Item 18: 1-Up Mushroom

Series 1 & 2 include 18 extra cards each.

So, there are 43 cards for the North American copy of the game.

In Japan, apparently Series 3 & 4 were released, but I've never found them - and they were never released in North America due to the utter retail failure of the e-reader.
