what kind of a game is it? it looks really neat. Except for the japanese language and all.

Is it like a mystery adventure game? that'd be fun.
much more fun than if it were a platformer with exeptionally bloody intro scenes.

It's actual a courtroom drama game, where you play a prosecutor, although you also have to investigate all the people involved in order to do your job right. It's mainly a text-driven adventure game, but it's so aesthetically rich and apparently well-written that it spawned two sequels, and then was remade for the DS with upgrade music/features and a new chapter. Luckily, we're getting the DS version - it'll be called "Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney" (they apparently felt the need to move the game out of Japan....oh well, can't win 'em all).

Well, in this case, WE ARE GETTING A BETTER VERSION OF THE GODDAMN GAME. Hell, the Japanese version has all the English text in it already (like a Sega release), so you could go ahead and import it.

Oh this IS is Phoenix Wright??? Had no idea it was part of a series. I'm actually wanting the DS version, me being a huge Case Closed guy and this looks kinda fun...

yea I know, I thought it was the DS version though cause the start up screen looks nearly identical as well as the graphics.
Cause I am feeling generous here is a trailer I got of the Nintendo disc I converted to Divx of the DS one that is coming out.
If you can't play it...you need Divx....
