I still say Namco makes the worst collections that being said, rally x is fun
Does this have Dig Dug?
Also, no battery save... bad idea.
As far as I can tell the conversions are 100% faithfull to the arcade.
Pacman even has the bug that enables you to go through the ghost.
How do you "use" the bug?
Was going to buy this regardless of the loss of Pole POsition which I love, but when I saw the battery again those bastards at Namco cheapskated around it went right off my 'I give a shit' list of buys and interests.
$30 and you get screwed.
Ahh yes, 50th anniversary. Namco: Making video games since 1955?
????? wow good point... was pacman out in 1955?? er was color even out in 1955 lol
perhaps they go by half years
or maby its thier 50th aniversary of something
now that you mention that i cant think of what the 50 stands for lol..
I agree, when it comes to theses types of comps, us GBA users always seemed to get ripped off :'( , just take a look at Marble Madness - Klax, theres 3 levels missing from Marble Madness FFS... :'(
So pissed that there was no battery included. It's the only reason I keep that crappy Classic NES version on my cart. However the sideways mode is pretty cool, it'll feel great on my micro!
1955: Nakamura Manufacturing Ltd. founded in Tokyo and began operations by installing two rocking-horse rides on the rooftop of a department store in Yokohama.
1972: Use of Namco brand name begins.
Wow, how many fatalities?
50 years, at least half of those in the videogame business, and every damn compilation they release has these same five games on it.
LOL!! Probably many considering it was on roof top. At least jumpers would be able to have one last bit of fun before they take the plunge.
Nothing amazing just a nice little trick that proves that its 100% faithful to the arcade. Instead of dying when you run into the red ghost you will magically go through it and be unarmed.
Just follow the green line starting from the left, it does not work every time so keep trying.
Why cant NAMCO give us Super Pacman and Pacman JR. i really want a gba version of super pacman, only version i know of other than arcade was gameboy colour version.
OK, tnx. I'll try it out.
No save = what's the point? Seriously, just like the other compilations released recently, the lack of a save kills all interest in buying the title. 3/4 of the fun in a title like this is beating your bloody high scores - what are you supposed to do, REMEMBER them?
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe Pacman has any weapons or limbs to begin with.
