1. Go to Radio Shack. Buy all the soldering tools they have. Buy the 15-watt soldering iron, desoldering braid, smallest solder you can find (I found 0.32), 5-piece soldering kit. All of this cost me $20. I never used the desoldering braid and the 5-piece, but you never know what will happen.
2. Get a flashlight.
3. Have a cup of water around (to calm you down if you get really nervous or thirsty).
4. Practice for about 20 minutes on an old motherboard.
5. Oh yeah, get a magnifying glass if you think you need it.
6. Don't Panic (that should be the first rule).
7. All these people who have totally burned their Wii boards are very stupid or are using a very hot iron. With that 15-watt from Radio Shack, you'll be fine!
