I know double, triple posting isn't nice and not allowed, and that's why we've been told to use the edit button.
Some people like me double post to keep a thread alive so the thread comes on top of all threads from the bottom.
So, just a little suggestion, just asking, can you put an alert and make the thread unread when someone uses the edit button?

This is something I have thought of before, but how often would ppl edit their old post (is this somthing ppl do) and send old threads to the top?

Sorry I didn't mention, make it get an alert and unread thread when the LAST post of the thread is edited.

Could be abused for major bumping 24/7 of a thread noone posts in.
I could sit and edit my post forever and watch it be top.
Its a good idea, just playing bad cop here

Well, i mean its like a business model really.
If a thread gets used enough and posted in, it stays floating to the top of that forum. (good business)
If a thread is good enough, the mods ( the government) will bail the thread out and sticky it (tax breaks, bails outs).
If a thread is bad, uninteresting, whatever, it sinks. (bad business goes out of business). Kinda the point of a forum.

Thats why double posting isnt allowed, nor why editing the last post should float the topic.
