Homebrew Tinfoil suddenly doesnt connect to shops anymore

Just remember that one day Nintendo may shut everything down for good. That's why I grab all my files immediately because you never know what the future holds. I have 1TB of switch games on my external HDD. But if you know how to set up your own shop that's good.

I just rather have my files on hand because I don't use internet on my CFW switch.

That's kind of what I like about my setup. It is a shop but it's hosted on my home server which is using my own HDDs. The NSP/NSZ files are still there unless the HDDs fail or I delete them myself.

Could you possible share how you set that up? I already have a 20TB server that I host my PLEX media on. I have close to a TB of NSPs on the Server but I don't know how to link it in tinfoil.?

I have an nginx web server setup that has an index.tfl file which links to the directories containing the games, updates and dlcs. To create the tfl file, have a look at Tinfoil's documentation. https://blawar.github.io/tinfoil/custom_index/

I'm not sure how to find the domain or IP... Is that something to do with static IP?

It depends on how you're connecting to it. If it's just hosted inside your house and don't need to connect to it from outside your network then it'll be the lan ip (Usually starts like 192.168.***.***).

Nope, I use Atmosphere. It's just like connecting to any other shop.

And if you're using Windows, I would just recommend using something like Ampps or XAMPP as it's a lot simpler than nginx for people not used to this sort of thing. You only need Apache installed and running from them, the rest is only if you want to host more advanced websites.

I suppose I'd like it to be sort of like the tinfoil shops. I'd like to be able to access it if I'm on the go and outside of my network

That would require port forwarding which I can't really help you with as it's different for every router. You then would need to search on Google for your public IPv4 address. Googling "My IP" should have it show up.
