My ex bf modded my nintendo switch. I used to be able to use tinfoil and download games but now it's not working. It stopped being able to download games and I stupidly try to lookup how to fix it. I followed a youtube that said to just update with the newest tinfoil version, but when I replaced the current files it stopped running in general. I have no access to tinfoil but I can still get to that beginning screen with atmosphere so I can still dock my switch to my pc to edit files. When I go to run it says that I have no ini file. I wish I was more computer savvy but now I'm too afraid to adjust anything in fear of messing it up more. Can anyone help with a non-techy guy to get this fixed or should I just send it back to him? I tried to post in r/SwitchPirates but I guess I don't have enough karma for that.
When I open my switch file folder it shows these folders: Atmosphere, bootloader, config, emuMMC, Firmware, Nintendo, Swich. Then it has these files below that: Exosphere.ini , hbmenu.nro , hekate_ctcaer_5.7.2.bin , hekate_ctcaer_6.0.3.bin , hekate_ctcaer_6.2.1.bin , tinfoil.install.log
When I go to the bootloader folder it has these folders: ini (nothing in there), payloads, res, sys. And there are a few files below the folders: hekate_ipl.ini , nyx.ini , patches.ini , update.bin.
Not sure if anyone can help but it would be greatly appreciated if you can tell someone not familiar with this stuff how to fix it.
