Hacking Misc Tinfoil issue after upgrade to 19.0.1 & game issue & tool info

Hi,

I updated to 19.0.1. I copied over the latest Atmosphere files (atmosphere-1.8.0-prerelease-c6014b533+hbl-2.4.4+hbmenu-3.6.0) & the Hekate+AMS-package3-sigpatches-1.8.0P2-cfw-19.0.0_V6 files.
I also copied over the Tinfoil Self Installer [050000BADDAD0000][18.0][v1] files but nothing works.

I am unable to run Tinfoil so I am not sure how to fix or what application to use to connect the NSW console in USB to the computer and drag & drop files (xci or nsp/nsw) to the installer folder to install properly on the switch ? Are there replacement tools I could use ?

I also noticed a game I wanted to try (Soul Reaver) that I installed (but never launched) while on the previous CFW is not lauching because of 'corrupted data.
Could this be linked to something I did not update properly ?

Tinfoil is updated to version 19. That solves issues with firmware 19.x.x
Otherwise use another installer like DBI og Tinwoo

That is weird, the tinfoil download page was not refreshing. Googling it worked and I could fin the 19.0 installers. Again I copied everything over after extracting and I still cannot use tinfoil.
When trying to install the nsp from Goldleaf to the SD card it complains about signature verification failed.
When copying over the contents of Tinfoil Self Installer [050000BADDAD0000][19.0][v1] folder, I am not sure what to do next or where to access these files from the NSW console.

Do you use fusee.bin as payload? It doesn't support kip sigpatches anymore. Use Sys-patch 1.5.5 to solve that. Alternatively use Hekate as payload and use FSS0 method in hekate.ini

I believe I use fusee as a payload (I'm not too sure since this is all Greek to me)
I have downloaded a zip file hekate_ctcaer_6.2.2_Nyx_1.6.4

I copied over to the card. Now what ?

delete the folder /atmosphere/bootloader. It doesn't belong there. It's never used. It will just confuse you and take up space. You must have incorrectly extrated a .zip file (either hekate itself, or an AIO such as HATS pack, or whatever) into the atmosphere folder, instead of to the root of the sd.

Don't worry about it. He's just fabulating. There is absolutely no evidence that DBI has malicious code built in. And the author never stated he had done that. Some people just like to scare other people (and that's also what the author of DBI was doing, just scaring people).

Well he did state that he could damage peoples consoles remotely if he wanted to. I can post the forum if you want? You don't just tell people you can damage their consoles and not have people worried about using your shit software

That's ok, I have read it too. I would hardly call DBI shit software, as it's the best installer I've ever seen on the Switch, but to each their own. I agree that it wasn't cool of the dev to threaten to brick user's consoles. There are alternatives for people who stopped trusting DBI, fortunately, such as this one mentioned in this thread. Well, as a mod mentioned before in another thread, it probably would be best to not derail this thread discussing about DBI again. Let's keep it at that.
