Download tinfoil nro applet version (works on game forwarding which means it will work with nsp forwarding)
Grab your prod.keys using lockpick
Go to nsp-forwarder .n8 .io
Install via goldleaf, awoo and boom profit

There is an exefs patch in the tinfoil discord btw. Not sure if I can really post that here?

Edit- Eh if the nsp can be, then heres the patch. It allows the self installer to launch properly. Put the folder in atmosphere/contents/

Hi guys,

I tried to install Dragon Quest III HD-2D and run the game with FW 18.0.0 and I couldn’t. Then I updated the FW to 19.0.1 with pre-release AMS 1.8.0 and last version of Tinfoil (18.0 v1) and now I don´t know what happened but I can´t run ANY game, Switch always show the next: ” Could not start the software. Please try again from the HOME Menu”. I can´t even run Tinfoil, when I try to press R button starting any game the same message pop up.
Anyone can help please I have been the last 4-5 days desperately trying to fix it but I can’t, I thought that it could be because of the 19.0.1 new version, what should I do?

I finally fix it, after add the exefs patch, I download another set of sigpatches from another source, I initially downloaded from sigmapatches.su and then and try from another link from a thread of this web (gbatemp.net).
I guess that after updated to 19.0.1 not all places had the right sigpatches to download, so don't take for granted that you are downloading the right things.

The other thing you can do is research sys-patch 1 5.4. Instead of multiple files for sigpatches, it is 1 file. I have it installed on 19.0.1 with latest atmosphere, and it is working fine.

I can confirm that unpacking the auto install of tinfoil 18 into the switch folder, and then replacing the tinfoil nro with the one from the applet version will work from the hbmenu under firmware 19.0 1 with the latest atmosphere.

Playing fortnite on a CFW console is not possible without getting banned as far as I know. And on what fw is your switch? You can use an emummc (which is a clone of ur switchs fw which you can use for hacks) and ur original fw for online to play fortnite.

I know that other people said this already, but I was on Tinfoil + NUT for a while and then changed to DBI, and it was literally a night and day difference for me.

No more "could not start software", no more black boxes instead of text, no more having to deal with NSPs without the title ID, no more having to wipe the titleDB from NUT due to it being a buggy mess, no more crashing/freezing, it literally just works AND you can transfer your files wirelessly via FTP too.

It does work. you will need to download the applet version. To run it hold R while booting up a game to boot into HB laucher. open the app that way. That is the only way i am getting it to work on 19.0.0 until a newer version comes out

Use the applet NRO version, but use this NRO-to-NSP Forwarder utility (referenced below) to get a working shortcut for the main menu. It bypasses the need for the R+A launch via another title, and it works on FW 19.0.0 as long as your sigpatches and everything are up-to-date.

Forwarder:
nsp-forwarder(dot)n8(dot)io

Simply plug in the locations on your storage where the files are located, put the forwarder in a desired location (I made an NSP folder in the Goldleaf directory) and then use DBI or Goldleaf to install the forwarder NSP. I currently have my system's emuMMC running FW19.0.0 and this method works flawlessly with Tinfoil, HB Menu itself, DBI, etc.
Every other method I tried failed or caused a corruption check until I used this specific forwarder.
