Hacking .tik games that are not from utikdownloadhelper?

Hello everyone,

I'm quite noob and slow to understand some concepts of Wii U hacking.

There are 3 games I own the original disc but I can't put them on my Wii U's USB HDD because I can't download it from utikdownloadhelper. My games are "007 Legends", "Runbow Deluxe Edition" and "Guitar Hero Live". I figured it was not a big deal for 007 and Guitar because my discs still work ok but my Runbow disc doesn't boot anymore.

Recently, I found a website that hosts "007 Legends" and "Runbow Deluxe Edition" as "WUPINSTALLER" Wii U games. I checked the content of the files and they are indeed a folder with the .tik files and all the other stuff I'm used to see from a utikdownloadhelper games.

Does it look legit to you? Is there a risk to brick my Wii U if I try to install this game on my USB HDD? I'd like to play my game again when friends come over! We had so much fun with this game!

Also.. Is there an easy way to copy my 007 and Guitar games on the HDD from the disc itself?

No risk. Give it a try. It will either work or it won't. You can delete it if it doesn't work

As for copying my disc on my HDD, I've seen old guides around. I'll look more into it. Maybe the youtuber GameInCanada did a guide about it.

if you have the disc version of a game you can just use disc2app to convert it to wup installer files
