these things eat through AA or AAA. There is no way batteries are gonna last 10 years. Unless you know something we don’t?

Tell us more, this is interesting.

For those that wanted it, here is the meme lol

On a side note, they should of re-released them like this for those versions that was once "hand-held", it will sell better as kids want random watches...

I doubt they're hard to produce, and I wouldn't underestimate the raw power of nostalgia and ironic purchases - more people will buy it than you folks probably realize :)

Game & Watch was older. A few other companies (Bandai, Mattel, Casio...) had similar stuff too.
Fun to see all the 1980s anime licenses, lol.

i have no personal experience with these things in particular, i thought they were like game & watches or literally every other chinese lcd garbage where it lasts a ridculously long time on a single CR2032 battery

Nobody ever wanted those things ever. Back in the 80´s it kinda made sense to buy the junk. Noe you can spend your $15 and buy enjoyable games in Eshop sale or buy a crapy boodleg handheld for $15 from Amazone. If you are a sonic fan and want merchendice you can get much better. Just burry the devices in the hole they dug to get the E.T. Atari games out.

FINALLY we can experience true high fidelity gameplay in 1 FPS again!

Next they need to bring back this bad boy for the added benefit of cutting off all bloodflow to your brain as it struggles to process the wonders of a single eye display:

Oh nice, and modest enough of a price.
I'd prefer cheaper if the battery life per battery isnt improved.
A small rechargable battery would be neat or atleast take less batteries and better battery saving.

The licensed titles seem a good selection but I really hope they pull out some of their originals too.

Was awesome at the time lol
I doubt my kids would play it for more than 5 minutes.

    Why? No, seriously. WHY?
These weren't even any good when they were a new thing. The only reason they were successful, was because even a DMG game boy was a high barrier of entry at the time for a lot of kids from broke families. So it was either this, or no games at all. This was also before smart phones were a thing.

Other than hipsters searching for ultimate irony, there is zero point to getting one of these. Ever.
