Thread ratings?

I think it'd be neat to have thread ratings. Let gbatempers decide how good a thread is.
What do you guys think?

I don't have the link on me but something similar was done for rating rom releases and that was severely abused (with games such as imagine babies or whatever coming top of the list). This would most likely also be the case for threads that are generally considered full of junk. Although it could be useful with select forum areas such as the blogs area I guess...

I do not think that would be a good idea. Far to many threads, the threads that get pushed to the top would be ones with many posts/views most likely and this rules out old popular threads that no longer have activity and most likely would highly be abused.
