First of all i think you are starting of on the wrong foot,

Do not use r4crypt

Is that gameID encrypted ? , you need to use eNDryptS Advanced and with vista are 7's user run the program with administration rights, (Note) always use a "Copy" of your original rom - Do play with the original untuched rom

infolib.dat and extinfo.dat edit with ttdt.exe , you can also edit savlib.dat and usrcheat.dat - (Note) always save the new file as new don't over-rideoriginal files

am I? I used r4crypt to decrypt the _DS_MENU.dat file of wood R4

I used eNDryptS advanced to encrypt/decrypt super scribblenauts(clean)

then I loaded it into r4cce to get the game ID. so what am i doing wrong?

Your not dowing anythink rong - just _DS_MENU.dat will tell you some of the patches - but they is no way to work out the the offsets of the hex patch should go , Its usless

You might what to see if the game offsets and hex fixes is avalable in (J) rom

So BH2E (U) rom - will be with (J) added to the end BH2J (J) rom - to do a seach of infolib.dat are extinfo.dat

I have just chacked all versions of the rom and non are avalable yet in extinfo.dat and infolib.dat , sorry still have to wait for they patch to use

I don't even know what offsets are. I never used them for any hex patches. I always just search for the hex, then change to other hex. really simple, without offsets.

and learn how to spell. I had trouble deciphering your words.

I do know how to decrypt the _DS_MENU.dat from r4wood - but i do think it's usless

It could be best to pay a visit to a few Japan sites for some lastest fixes of the hex with the latest games - but it's just comeing up with the idear of how to get infolib.dat hex for games that have errcode=-4 arm9 and errcode=-6 arm7 on load...

and see if somethink could be figured out??......
