    I've hit a few walls with my project to do a LUA IRC client for 3DS, and I'm thinking of trying to port CLIRC DS to the 3DS. How smooth a process is porting NDS homebrew to the 3DS? I know of at least one piece of homebrew (PrBoom) that seems to have been ported with most of its code unchanged, but honestly aside playing around with lpp-3ds this would be my first time coding for the 3DS (or really any system other than PC and Android for that matter).

    Does anybody have any pointers as far as porting such a project? Ideas of where I should start as far as learning goes?
