Hacking Thinking of buying a 3ds flash card, which one should I buy?

Hi, I want to purchase either a gateway or a sky3ds flash card, I am only really concerned about being able to play games like smash bros online with my friends, so I suppose it would have to be able to be on the latest 3ds version as well. I am also only interested in really playing roms, none of that homebrew stuff etc.

Which one should I get? Can you tell me what's bad about the other one, if you can?

Wow, the dstwo looks really nice, I didn't know it existed. From owners of the dstwo, can you play online and can you not get banned etc. does it work on the latest firmware?

If your Firmware is 9.9, your only option for playing 3DS roms is Sky3DS.

Gateway and the DSTwo+ require 9.2 or below for playing 3DS roms.

Not unless you made a nand dump while you were previously on 9.2

Well, looks like I'm not getting a flashcard then. I looked up online play with sky 3ds and you need a private header to play online so there's really no point, oh well.

The best option is to sell your current 3DS and get one on 9.2 or less. Probably won't work out much more than a Sky3DS.

I bought a brand new Ice White 3DS from a shop the other day and it came with 2.1 FW. For those in UK, it was Argos.

With the sky there is lots of information on how to get a private header. I Don't have a sky my self but my coworker does and he plays online. Says it is easy once you learn how.

You can buy a cheap shovelware to get a private header and dump it, there are many ways besides using a hacked 3DS.

I talked about getting an online sports game for cheap instead of Pokemon OR, not the hardware required.
