Hacking Thinking about switching to a9lh but i have a few question before hand

i am currently thinking about switching to a9lh but i have a few question before hand.

1. How big is the acutall chance of an brick?
2. Can i use GWs Emunand instead of Rednand?
3. Should i use an clean SD Card for the whole process (just with an gw emunand)
4. can i still use GW?

1-None if you follow the guide
2-No you can't, but you can create an emunand on your sd with gateway emunand contents
3-yes definitively
4-NO

Of you follow instructions right then there is really no chance of brick. Just don't try shortcuts and follow the phailect's otp guide step by step and you'll be fine.

As others have said before me. During the process, if you follow Plailects's excellent guide, bricking isn't an issue.

If you want my opinion, everyone should follow Plailect's guide, even if you want to stay on EmuNAND. Because if you follow it up to the end of Part 3, you have a perfectly working separated Sys/EmuNAND system. And any time you want to go down the rabbit hole into A9LH territory, you have previous experience. Getting up to the OTP part, which is the scarier part of the whole process. But as always. If you can't afford to lose a 3DS to a brick, then don't go down the rabbit hole. But it's quite nice down the rabbit hole...

Yeah, you're right. I've never really tried a girl's hole. I prefer guy's holes
